Tierion Network Update — September 24

It’s been a week since the Tierion Network went online. We’re currently in a launch phase where we’re analyzing how the network performs, collecting data, and optimizing the infrastructure. Over a thousand Chainpoint nodes were running within 24 hours. This quickly scaled up to over  10,000 active nodes , exceeding our most optimistic projections. People couldn’t wait to download and run a Chainpoint Node. Our team worked around the clock to…

Tierion Network Launch

Today we’re launching the Tierion Network. The first service on the network is  Chainpoint , a global “proof engine” that lets anyone prove the integrity and timestamp of any data, file, or process. Chainpoint works by creating a timestamp proof that cryptographically links data to a transaction on a blockchain. Anyone with this proof can verify the data’s integrity and timestamp without relying on a trusted authority. Early adopters and…

Chainpoint - Innovations in Blockchain Timestamp Proofs

Last month we shared a public preview of the Chainpoint 3.0 proof format . Chainpoint lets you create timestamp proofs by anchoring a hash of your data to a public blockchain. Anyone with a Chainpoint proof can prove that data existed in a certain state at a certain time. Verifying a proof does not rely on a trusted third party. Since launching in 2015, Chainpoint has been used by thousands of organizations. We’ve been listening to your feedback…

Microsoft & Tierion Working Together on Blockchain Proof Technology

Microsoft and Tierion are collaborating on a service that links data to the blockchain to prove the data’s integrity and existence. Tierion will be used in conjunction with Microsoft’s decentralized identity initiative to generate attestations that can be verified without relying on a trusted authority. Several enterprise customers are participating in pilot programs to prove data integrity to regulators, and create an immutable audit trail of…
